SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) Application is an advanced multidisciplinary solution aimed at reducing the risk of subsequent fractures in patients with recent fragility fractures. The APP, as a key player in the FLS team, takes an active role in the management of these patients by ordering critical tests, prescribing medications, ensuring follow-up monitoring, and driving the data reporting process. With a focus on coordination between orthopedic surgeons, bone specialists, and primary care providers (PCPs), the app provides a streamlined and efficient system that facilitates timely care and reduces fracture risk.

The APP plays a pivotal role in patient care by using the FLS App to streamline key processes. From ordering tests and prescribing treatments to ensuring follow-up and driving data collection, the APP ensures that patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Currently licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner by State of employment
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
