Program Overview:

• Accredited for 2 Fellows per year
• Employed core faculty members already in place
• Level I Trauma Center
• Integrated Epic Healthcare System
• Hospital staffed 24/7 with Hospitalists and Intensivists
• Robust GME Program: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, Transitional Year and Cardiology fellowship

Program Director Responsibilities will include:

• Participate in the supervision of residents/fellows by teaching faculty with defined profession of resident responsibility.
• Administering and maintaining an educational environment conducive to educating the fellows in each of the ACGME competency areas
• Overseeing and ensuring the quality of didactic and clinical education in all sites
• Familiarity with and compliance with ACGME training and reporting requirements
• Participate in academic societies and in educational programs designed to enhance educational and administrative skills
• Provide general consultation in both inpatient and outpatient settings

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care
• Ability to obtain an active medical license in the State of Georgia
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an active faculty member in the ACGME accredited internal medicine or Hospice and Palliative Care
