Job Summary The Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound studies to include: two-dimensional echocardiograms, m-mode echocardiography, color flow doppler, transesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography including pharmacological stress testing, and contrast flow studies. In addition, the Cardiac Ultrasound Tech is responsible for patient billing, transcription overview and revision and the maintenance of records.
Qualifications:

Minimum Experience Requirements No previous experience needed if a graduate of an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound program At least two years of practical experience is required for other training programs and registry eligible status Registry eligible employees must take and pass the RDMS examination within two years from date of employment.
