The role you’ll contribute:
The Executive Director of Provider Recruitment is responsible for the process, development and execution of the system wide provider recruitment strategies into AdventHealth's Central Florida Division, which is comprised of 17 hospitals, 20 Centra Care locations, and includes recruitment of both physicians and advanced practice providers in all specialties to include adult and pediatrics, specialty and primary care. This position has recruitment accountabilities for multiple, complex branches within the division all of which have various recruitment philosophies. These include: AHMG, AHMG (North Region) AdventHealth Institutes, Radiology Specialists of Florida, Graduate Medical Education, Hospice of the Comforter, Transplant, AdventHealth for Children (state-wide), AdventHealth Research Institute and private physician practices (Income Guarantees). AdventHealth Central Florida Division has numerous national clinical programs with world-class physicians. The Executive Director leads the department in a manner which ensures the division is positioned to attract and successfully recruit high quality, renowned clinicians. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Network Development.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Provides strategic leadership and direction for all provider recruitment for the system to include all needed specialties and primary care, including APP’s. Oversee recruitment process for all division hospitals from initial search request to execution of contract.
Ensures offers / letters of intents /contracts meet corporate compliance and fair market value and standards, and fit within proforma guidelines. Follows requirements from AH Corporate regarding compensation and the compliance process.
Assists in the development of strategic plans for physician expansion for the division. Makes recommendations based on specialty recruitment experience
Regularly reports metrics to key stakeholders via the recruitment dashboard. Uses dashboard to monitor performance and drive improvements
Works with key community partners such as hotels, real estate agents, banking institutions and lenders, and relocation/moving companies to ensure valuable partnerships.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field
Minimum of five years prior leadership experience in hospitals or other health care organizations
Minimum of seven years prior physician recruitment experience
