Registered Nurse - Per Diem Operating Room- Ambulatory Surgery Center at Rockaway
Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals in the operating room to help treat patients undergoing ambulatory surgery and other procedures including but not limited to; Colonoscopies, Ortho sports and minor trauma, Ortho hand, GYN, Laparoscopic, Plastics, Urology, General, Rectal, Podiatry, Pediatrics. Principal Accountabilities:1. Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports in EPIC EMR.2. Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.3. Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.4. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.5.
