MercyOne Northeast Iowa has an excellent opportunity for a full time Board Certified or Board Eligible General Psychiatrist with a geriatric focus to join a team located in Waterloo, Iowa.

The selected candidate will join two Adult Psychiatrists, one Child Psychiatrist and one psychiatric ARNP at a general psychiatry practice with an interest/ability to care for geriatric patients. You will work on a clinical team of psychiatrists, advanced practice psychiatric nurses, and licensed clinicians.

There is a 20 Bed Inpatient Unit and a 23 Bed Horizons Chemical Dependency Unit, both in Waterloo and a 15 Bed Senior Behavioral Health Unit in Cedar Falls.

The full time schedule for this opportunity features the option for a 4, 4.5 or 5-day work week, clinic based with shared clinic/hospital call responsibility.       

Applicants must be Board Certified or Board Eligible and must be Board Certified within three years of becoming eligible; and EOE/drug screen is required. We are seeking an in-person provider willing to relocate to Iowa, not a telehealth provider.
