Saint Alphonsus Medical Group, a physician-led, accountable, 500+ provider, multispecialty group practice is seeking a geriatrician at our multi-disciplinary practice in Boise, Idaho.
Innovate clinic model with collaborative team of Geriatricians, Internal Medicine, Extensivists, Palliative Care, Social Work, and in-clinic Pharmacist
6-10 patients a day, visits are 1.5 - 2 hours (for new patients) and 45-60 minutes (follow-up)
Located on the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center campus with close proximity to a variety of sub-specialties and services

Opportunity to consult in nearby communities (Nampa - 20 minutes from Boise & Caldwell - 30 minutes from Boise)
Schedule:
Outpatient only, M-F, 34 patient contact hours
Call is 1:8, phone only
Requirements:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
Successful completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program
Geriatrics Expertise:
Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Geriatric Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), or
Certification of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Geriatric Medicine through the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM), or
Certification in the Subspecialty of Geriatric Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), or
Obtain such certification within 3 years of employment, or
Ten years of practice experience devoted primarily to the care of older patients
Idaho medical license, registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA (controlled substances), privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Cente
