Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine physician to join a practice located in Boise, Idaho.
SAMG is a 500+ provider multispecialty group practice with a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. Manage complex, critically ill patients in high-acuity ICU setting.
Robust, two-hospital ICU and outpatient practice
Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (Boise) is a level II Trauma Center with a 22-bed Med/Surg ICU, a 10-bed cardiac ICU, a 10-bed Cardiovascular/Thoracic ICU, and a new 17-bed Neuro/Trauma ICU (opening early 2023).
Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Nampa (about 20 minutes from Boise) has an 18-bed ICU, providing all standard ICU procedures.
Pulmonary diagnostic services include endobronchial ultrasound, bedside diagnostic ultrasound, navigational bronchoscopy, pulmonary function testing, and sleep diagnostics.
Schedule:
182 total shifts per year (including clinic shifts), work two weeks a month in the ICU with flexible clinic scheduling during non-ICU weeks
Nights only 1:6
No clinic on Fridays
No call
Clinic Support:
In-house Respiratory Therapist & PFTs
In-house Nurse Navigator & Triage RN
1:1 MA support
Requirements of this opportunity include Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree; successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency program & Pulmonary Critical Care fellowship program; Board certified - or obtain certification within 3 years employment; obtain Idaho and Oregon medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC - Boise, SAMC - Nampa, and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed; valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
