Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) - a physician led and accountable 500+ provider multispecialty group practice - is seeking a full-time Family Medicine physician to join a robust, growing practice located in Eagle, Idaho.
The selected candidate will join one other Family Medicine physician, a Family Medicine APP, and a Pediatric physician. Located at the intersection of Chinden Boulevard and Meridian Road, West Chinden Family Medicine provides convenient care close to home for Eagle and Meridian residents. Our friendly providers are committed to being life-long wellness partners for patients and their families. This location also provides pediatric care (two full-time Pediatricians onsite) and women's health, including prenatal care. Located only four miles away is Saint Alphonsus Emergency Department.
Support includes 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia; Level IV Trauma Center; ED; and larger system resources.
The schedule for this full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity is a traditional clinic work week, Monday through Friday, with no less than 34 patient contact hours per week. Practice call is shared with other SAMG Family Medicine providers (approximately 1:31).
Requirements for this opportunity include:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program
- Board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP), or obtain such certification within three years of employment
- Obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases, valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA
