MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to join a busy practice, Neurosurgery of North Iowa, P.C., located in Mason City, Iowa.
The selected candidate will join three experienced, highly respected surgeons and three PAs in a private practice, with an opportunity for partnership. This stable practice has served Mason City for over 30 years and is busy beyond the capacity of the founding Neurosurgeon. There is great growth potential for an energetic and entrepreneurial Neurosurgeon to rapidly build a professionally and financially satisfying practice.
The practice utilizes all-digital imaging and archiving, microscopic surgery, surgical ultrasound, BrainLab spinal neuro-navigational system, and has access to MRI, PET and CT. Services offered include, but are not limited to, general neurosurgery, brain tumor, peripheral nerve disorders, central nervous system trauma, pain procedures, skull-based surgery, spinal fusion, deep brain stimulation, interventional neuroradiology, hydrocephalus, and Chiari malformation.
The Neurosurgery office is located in Forest Park Clinic, a multi-specialty medical building with several other private practices on site. This building is adjacent and connected to MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center. Also adjacent to the Neurosurgery office is the Radiology group's office. The hospital's imaging department is adjacent and connected to Forest Park Clinic.

Only 100 hospitals in the nation are honored with this award and North Iowa is the only facility in the state of Iowa to be chosen. The award analyzes hospital performance based on patient outcomes.
