The Social Worker Suicide Prevention Coordinator (SPC) is a member of the Mental Health & Behavioral Sciences (MHBS) Service Line of the Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System (NAVAHCS), Prescott, Arizona. The incumbent functions as a coordinator for care of Veterans at suicide risk and serves as the facility Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advisor to the MHBS Service Line Manager, facility leadership, program managers, and staff concerning VHA Suicide Prevention initiatives and programs. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Education. Have a master's degree in social work from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
