The Miami VA Healthcare System's main facility, the Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center, is located on 26 acres in the Miami Civic Center Medical Complex. It has outpatient clinics in Key West and Sunrise; community clinics in Deerfield Beach, Hollywood, Homestead, Key Largo, and Pembroke Pines; and a specialty clinic for homeless Veterans in downtown Miami. The Miami VA Healthcare System supports Readjustment Counseling Centers (Vet Centers) in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach and Key Largo. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
