Physician roles at Prospero involve leading an interdisciplinary care team of home-based medical care providers who support patients facing serious illness, their families and caregivers.
Starting with the first visit, our care teams take the time to learn a person’s medical and non-medical needs. Together, we design a specific plan aligned with their hopes and goals. This helps people maintain their independence and lessens the burden that tends to fall on family. Building trust, while providing quality care, is our top priority.
With Prospero, you can improve the health of others and help heal the healthcare system. You can work within an incredible team culture and be part of a clinical and business collaboration that is learning and evolving every day. No other provider will have the ability over the next 3 to 5 years to impact this growing patient population at the same scale across the country. You’ll open doors for yourself that simply do not exist in any other organization, anywhere.
Board eligible/board certified in internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine
Fellowship training in geriatrics or palliative care preferred but not required
1-2 years minimum experience preferred, new graduates welcomed
Active state licensure for state at hire
Active DEA certification
Note: A clinical background in geriatrics, hospice and palliative medicine or behavioral health is preferred (e.g. past experience working in a nursing home or with seniors in other settings)
