$$ SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE $$ The main role of the Admissions Nurse is: 1. Assess a patient’s needs and complete admission for service as appropriate. a. Work closely with supervisor to ensure that the intake process is completed in a prompt and timely fashion and in accordance with admissions policies and procedures. b. Provide visits to patients and families for the purpose of sharing information about hospice and/or reviewing and completing admissions forms. c. Complete admissions paperwork, including the Medicare Secondary Payor, and electronic charting in accord with GSH guidelines.
