Pharmacist (Clinical Pharmacy Specialist) Pain Management
The Pain Management Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (CPS) must be a licensed pharmacist with a Pharm.D., preferably with an accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency, or other equivalent experience demonstrating competency. Previous experience managing all types of pain modalities (opioid and non-opioid) across various settings including primary care, anesthesia/pain, oncology, palliative, and inpatient are preferred. The CPS is responsible for planning, developing and maintaining effective clinical pharmacy programs by implementing rational cost-effective drug therapy to improve patient outcome in Pain Management.
