Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine

The Guthrie Clinic, a non-profit, physician-led, integrated healthcare delivery system, is seeking candidates for a Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine to join a collegial group of 7 Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians. 

Successful candidate will be boarded in both Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and is expected to fully participate in the clinical activities of the Section, with a combination of critical care, inpatient pulmonary consultation, and outpatient pulmonary. 

Position details:

• Physicians follow 2-week rotation coverage for pulmonary outpatient clinic, the pulmonary inpatient service (including inpatient consults), and the medical critical care unit/ICU.
• Call schedule will be 1:7 – split evenly with coverage of the pulmonary and ICU services at night and on weekends.
• Interest in education.  Current faculty teach IM and FM residents, medical students, and RT students.  The Section has started a Pulmonary/CCM fellowship in 2020.
• The Pulmonary/Critical Care Section  provides medical directorship to the medical critical care closed ICU (newly built 2014) –  26-bed medical, surgical, trauma, and cardiac patients;  Department of Respiratory Care, and the School of Respiratory Therapy.
