The Director of Hospice Cabarrus County, NC will direct the agency leadership team and will directly supervise team. RN leader preferred.
Oversees overall day to day operations for hospice and palliative care business. Leads agency's efforts to fully comply with policies and procedures, accreditation requirements, licensure and certification, and national hospice standards.
Oversees administrative responsibilities for all staff (directly employed or by contract) to include staffing.
Delegates supervision of professional and administrative staff to appropriate team members.
Works directly with the Board of Directors and as a liaison between the board and the hospital.
Develops a strategic plan, annual agency evaluation and annual budget.
Works with QAPI Director for policy changes.
Provides for direction and oversight of the Palliative Care Program.
Facilitates collaborative partnerships with physicians to ensure coordination of services and continuity of care for patients and families under care.
Represents the agency in the community and ensures the accuracy of public information materials and activities.
Promotes staff development and education and provides for consultation support when required expertise is not available on staff.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Hospice nursing leader preferred.
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years upper level health care management experience required.
Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years administrative senior level management experience in health care setting preferred.
