Gift of Life Donor Program, the nation’s leading organ procurement organization, is responsible for recovering and distributing organs and tissues used in life-saving and life-enhancing transplants in eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware.
These are excellent opportunities for experienced Clinical Staff Educators who would like to impact clinical staff training by:
planning, developing, and implementing training programs for clinical staff;
developing and implementing written, lecture, on-line and experiential/scenario-based simulation and skills assessment based training programs; and
developing and implementing comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets to support completion of training / educational / innovation plan projects.
Collaborate with clinical leadership regarding ongoing identification of current priorities for development and implementation of routine and new training delivered through traditional classroom and other modalities
Collaborate with clinical leadership/staff to develop, implement, and maintain structured processes documenting orientation and on-going continuing education training for clinical staff
Participate in various training programs as an instructor and facilitator
Serve as project manager (creates plans, tracks progress, communicates and ensures timelines are met) for a variety of assigned projects
Participate in and coordinate opportunities for research, presentation of case studies and abstracts and other activities to support GLDP’s overall mission
Collaborate to design scenario-based simulation training and competency testing/skill assessment testing
Assess and measure training impact/effectiveness through use of data and performance analytics;
Make recommendations to improve existing materials and develop new programs
Work both independently and collaboratively to design, and use software to develop and implement eLearning training modules
Collaborate with administrative coordinator supporting CSD to assure ongoing effective implementation of learning management system (Halogen eLM) and maintenance of training files across the clinical division for all training
Collaborate with Sr. Clinical Educator and QA to evaluate training file system through internal audits to ensure training files meet GLDP and regulatory requirements
Manage the architectural design and content integrity of the Microsoft SharePoint document management platform for clinical training materials and resources as well as, identify, develop, proof, and post materials
Assist with the development annual budget and innovation plan
Successful candidates will possess a combination of or all of the following credentials and competencies:
Baccalaureate Degree in health care, nursing or applied life sciences
Experience with adult education / training development (Face to face and eLearning) and presentation experiences required
LMS management (Halogen eLM), Microsoft SharePoint and Articulate Storyline 2 experience preferred
Curriculum development experience
3-5 year’s clinical experience in the field of organ procurement, including CPTC, and experience in the field of tissue donation
Demonstrated organizational, process management, and project management skills
Strong interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills
